Voice Broadcast: Auto Dialer Software Connects NH Voters with RepresentativesVoice broadcast company CallFire is into an overdrive as New Hampshire activist groups are now using its autodialer software to connect voters, who are still undecided about preserving the state's same-sex marriage law, with their representatives. CallFire's auto dialer software has a transfer feature that enables volunteers to transfer calls to voters, who are on the line, directly to the state representative. Concord Patch reported that New Hampshire activists and volunteers were using this feature to increase the awareness about the need to preserve the existing law that allows for same-sex marriage. This law appears to be in jeopardy with the State Legislature contemplating on repealing it. The press release states that CallFire's autodialer software will have tremendous implications for political campaigns as it would allow volunteers to increase the connect rate. This will not only hasten the process and maximize volunteers' time but will make the whole process more pleasurable for them. In addition, volunteers can call from anywhere and at any time. This ability to call remotely allows for a lot of flexibility while organizing field events and their own events. Organizers and volunteers can load targeted list of specific legislative districts and transfer calls to the legislators that represent those districts. According to the activist group, “Stand Up for New Hampshire Families,” being able to transfer the voters immediately to the representative is "the most effective way to handle phonebanking." CallFire's intuitive platform for voter outreach and education, GOTV phone banking, and SMS text messaging allow people to have their voice heard in the political process and its cloud telephony is also being used by other citizen groups. On February 10, 2012 CallFire introduced an insurance marketing and lead management best practice guide. The guide focuses on three particular aspects of insurance marketing for insurance agents: cold calling, lead management, and day-to-day management tasks and demonstrates how its solutions help agencies expand a book of business and maximize an agent's time. YTel is another voice broadcast provider offering auto dialer capabilities to save time and reach thousands of voters in the time it would take to reach 300 constituents with traditional dialing. In fact, YTel was tapped to provide “Get Out the Vote” voice broadcast solutions to the political clients of one marketing agency’s companies for the 2012 elections. YTel’s voice broadcasting software will thus facilitate political campaign calls to thousands of opt-in consumers starting this year. Edited by Tammy Wolf |
