Mobile Messaging, including Voice Broadcast, Made Simple via CallFire's Cloud-based Platform
Mobile messaging has presented organizations with powerful new ways to reach their customers. As people become more reliant on their mobile devices for daily information, they are becoming more accustomed to the idea of receiving real-time and automated SMS marketing messages from the companies they do business with.
One reason for this growing acceptance is the fact that people are now realizing the value of getting automated messages from the other “non-marketing” organizations they associate themselves with, such as public schools, colleges and universities, churches, social clubs and sporting groups -- all of which are making increasing use of automated mobile messaging to send alerts and updates to members’ mobile devices.
As marketers become savvy with their messaging, incorporating voice and video into their messages, and most importantly making their messaging fun and entertaining, consumers are beginning to see greater value in receiving special offers and product information via this new medium. As long as they can opt in or opt out – and as long as they can ignore or delete the message they’re receiving if they so choose – mobile users will only become more accepting, in fact appreciative, of mobile messaging over time, and marketers only stand to benefit.
What’s interesting is that today’s cloud-based mobile messaging platforms make it incredibly easy for a small business to blast personalized messages directly to customers. More interesting still is that these platforms give businesses the ability to deliver their messages in different multimedia formats – including text, voice and video. It’s simple, affordable and very effective – but the best part about mobile messaging is that it’s almost like sending messages to a captive audience: as a marketer, you hedge your bets that a high number of recipients are going to feel that device vibrate, turn on the screen, and see that message – whether they decide to delete it, save it for later, or, in a best case scenario, read, listen or watch the entire message right away.
During a recent webinar, “SMS, Voice & Video Mobile Messaging for Small Businesses,” sponsored by mobile messaging solutions provider CallFire, Jacob Weiss, Sales Czar for CallFire, explained how the company’s cloud-based mobile messaging platform gives small businesses a powerful yet affordable way to communicate with their customers. Specifically he explained how this platform can be used to deliver compelling text, voice and video messages to all customers, resulting in increased sales.
A lively question and answer period with the audience followed Weiss’ presentation.
